Duties

• Install, service, and repair commercial heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.


• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to optimise system performance.


• Troubleshoot technical issues using specialised tools and equipment, diagnosing faults accurately.


• Utilise welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly skills to modify or adapt existing systems as required.


• Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently during tasks.


• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for client documentation.


• Assist with the installation of ancillary equipment such as ventilation or cooling systems when necessary.


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies.

• Proven experience in welding, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical installation work.


• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.


• Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to heating systems and associated infrastructure.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation or maintenance tasks.


• Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and system diagnostics.


• Experience with commercial driving is advantageous for site visits and transportation of equipment.


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with a keen eye for detail when troubleshooting faults.
