Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results\-driven Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across Bedford, Milton Keynes and Luton sites with use of a company vehicle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleaning standards are unheld, exceptional customer service, and leading a team to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to foster a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily cleaning operations across assigned locations, ensuring adherence to specification.

  • Drive customer satisfaction by implementing effective service and addressing customer concerns promptly.

  • Lead, train, and develop cleaning operatives to enhance their skills and improve overall performance.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans to achieve targets.

  • Conduct regular site visits to assess operational efficiency and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with senior management to grow and improve the area.

  • Maintain accurate records of operational activities and prepare reports for management review.

  • Perform thorough cover cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.

  • You will have full support from head office with the operations manager ensuring daily tasks are scheduled until you're up and running.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

  • Excellent customer service skills are essential to ensure client satisfaction and build positive relationships.

  • Proficient in using technology for reporting and communication purposes.

  • A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
