Civil Engineering Project Manager – 3D/4D + AI & CGI Planning Technologies

We’re looking for a civil engineering project manager who knows civil construction, loves working with people and is pumped by what new technology can do.

You’ll lead client workshops, build trusted relationships and direct specialists using 3D and 4D planning technologies, AI and CGI. You’ll understand the engineering, challenge the construction sequence and take responsibility for the detail and quality of every output. Our specialists build the models; you lead the work and make it on\-point to the situation.

You’ll bring a relevant degree, major infrastructure delivery experience and a record of relationships that last. You should be comfortable leading a room, explaining complex ideas clearly and bringing engineers, contractors and clients to agreement to align agendas and drive the programme safely.

Pay: £70,000\.00\-£90,000\.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• Degree: Do you hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering, construction management or a closely related engineering discipline? Give the qualification and subject.


• Major infrastructure: Have you personally delivered work on at least one major road, rail, bridge, tunnel, water, energy or comparable civil infrastructure project? Give the project, employer, end client, dates and your responsibilities.


• Client or contractor experience: Identify your work for a major infrastructure client, such as DfT or TfL, or a contractor or consultant delivering projects for such a client. Explain your direct involvement.


• Relevant sector: Is your experience limited to residential development, buildings, architectural visualisation, fencing, or standalone steel fabrication/installation? These backgrounds alone do not meet the major infrastructure requirement.


• Employment continuity: Have you spent at least three continuous years with one employer? Give the employer and dates, including internal promotions or project transfers.


• Short appointments: Explain each role lasting less than two years during the past ten years. Identify permanent employment, fixed\-term contracts, project completion, redundancy and internal transfers.


• London attendance: Can you regularly attend client meetings and workshops in London in person? Give your current town, normal journey time and any attendance restrictions. Site travel: Can you travel to infrastructure project sites when required? State any restrictions.


• Technology: Which planning and digital tools have you used or directed teams to use? Distinguish hands\-on use from management responsibility. Describe one practical application of 3D, 4D or AI.


• Client leadership: Give one example of personally leading a construction planning workshop, resolving disagreement and achieving a decision. Trusted relationships: Describe a client relationship maintained over several years, including repeat work or a professional referee who could substantiate it.


• Construction detail: Explain your experience reviewing engineering drawings, construction methodology, sequencing, interfaces and programme risks.


• English standard: Self\-rate your spoken and written English separately: A1 / A2 / B1 / B2 / C1 / C2\. C1 minimum in both; C2 preferred. Describe your experience leading technical meetings and writing client\-facing documents in English.


• Practical fit: Confirm acceptance of £70,000–£90,000 per year for full\-time work, notice period, UK right\-to\-work status and whether sponsorship is required.
