Church Outreach
Job Overview
The new Multi\-Generational Team has been created to help with outreach, bridging the gap between the congregation and the community, and the development of people's faith, across both Children \& Youth and Adults. You will be working across two Churches in Scunthorpe, St George's on Digby Street, and Church of the Resurrection on Mirfield Road.
We recognise that your passion may lay in working with Adults or with Children \& Youth. Within the Multi\-Gen. team there are opportunities to lead in these different outreach area’s.
You will work closely with other members of the Multi\-Gen team, and with the Vicar, to implement the church vision. The Multi\-Gen. team intentionally brings together people of different ages, from various generations, to work and serve together in ministries and activities. Unlike simply having different age groups present in the same building, a multi\-generational team focuses on creating opportunities for these groups to actively interact, support, and learn from each other through shared activities like worship, study, and outreach. This approach values the unique perspectives and gifts of every generation and fosters a stronger, more unified community.
