Contract: Full\-time, Permanent
Salary: £13\.50–£14\.50 per hour (depending on experience \& qualifications)

FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED, Confident Driver.

Please Note we are not taking any sponsorships (COS Licences)

Days 7:30 am to 10:30pm 15 hour shift.

Shift Pattern 1 on two days off.

The Role

We are looking for caring, compassionate, and energetic Residential Support Workers to join our team. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and you’ll have the chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.

You’ll be supporting children with a range of needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), autism, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide nurturing, person\-centred care to children and young people, aged 7 to 18

  • Support daily routines including meals, school runs, activities, and community trips.

  • Act as a positive role model, helping young people build trust, develop life skills, and improve social and communication abilities.

  • Encourage fun, engaging activities such as cinema trips, swimming, days out, or even holidays.

  • Assist with care plans, risk assessments, and record\-keeping to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Work as part of a supportive team, completing handovers and maintaining clear communication.

  • Above all, create a safe, positive, and fun environment where children feel valued and supported.
Skills \& Experience
  • Experience working in children’s residential care is desirable.

  • A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

  • Good written and spoken English for record\-keeping.

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
