ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Night Residential Support Worker to join our children's home team in Wolverhampton. You'll provide high\-quality, trauma\-informed care and a safe, nurturing environment for vulnerable children and young people, helping them thrive at every stage of their journey.

Hourly Rate

£13\.45 \- £15\.00

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Providing day\-to\-day support, supervision and care for children and young people in a residential setting

  • Building trusting, consistent relationships that promote safety, stability and emotional wellbeing

  • Supporting young people with education, health appointments, activities and life skills

  • Working collaboratively with social workers, families and other professionals

  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care plans in line with Ofsted standards

  • Responding calmly and effectively to challenging behaviour using approved therapeutic approaches

  • Sleep in shift duties paid at £40\.00 per shift.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and young people

  • Experience in residential childcare, social care, education, or a related field (desirable)

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards qualification

  • Resilience, empathy and strong communication skills

  • Flexibility to work a shift pattern including evenings, weekends and sleep\-ins

  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
