ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our children's home team in Wolverhampton. You'll provide high\-quality, trauma\-informed care and a safe, nurturing environment for vulnerable children and young people, helping them thrive at every stage of their journey.

Salary Range
£36,718\.50 \- £40,950 \+ additional sleep in

- Comprehensive induction and training, including opportunities to work towards Diploma's in residential children's care, level 3, 4 and 5\.
- Additional sleep\-in rate — £40\.00 per sleep (approximately 4 per month)
- Providing day\-to\-day support, supervision and care for children and young people in a residential setting
- Building trusting, consistent relationships that promote safety, stability and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting young people with education, health appointments, activities and life skills
- Working collaboratively with social workers, families and other professionals
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care plans in line with Ofsted standards
- Responding calmly and effectively to challenging behaviour using approved therapeutic approaches
- Completing sleep\-in duties as required (approx. 4 per month)
- A genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and young people
- Experience in residential childcare, social care, education, or a related field (desirable)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards qualification
- Resilience, empathy and strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work a shift pattern including evenings, weekends and sleep\-ins
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
