What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care or Children \& Young People’s Workforce (preferred)
- Experience in residential childcare (preferred)
- Understanding of Ofsted standards (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

- Full\-time, rota\-based (including alternate weekends)
- 15\-hour shifts (7am – 10pm)
- Salary: £32,000 per year (based on 3 shifts per week \+ 2 sleep\-ins)
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping our children and young people grow, develop, and feel secure.
You will:
- Create a safe, nurturing home environment where every child feels heard and valued
- Support daily routines, including personal care and wellbeing
- Encourage independence through life skills and decision\-making
- Plan and take part in fun activities — from sports and swimming to community outings
- Be a positive role model and advocate, empowering young people to express themselves
- Work closely with families, professionals, and your team to provide the best care possible
- Keep clear, high\-quality records to ensure the highest standards of care
- Promote respect, equality, and individuality in everything you do
