What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care or Children \& Young People’s Workforce (preferred)


• Experience in residential childcare (preferred)


• Understanding of Ofsted standards (preferred)


• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

The Role

• Full\-time, rota\-based (including alternate weekends)


• 15\-hour shifts (7am – 10pm)


• Salary: £32,000 per year (based on 3 shifts per week \+ 2 sleep\-ins)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping our children and young people grow, develop, and feel secure.

You will:

• Create a safe, nurturing home environment where every child feels heard and valued


• Support daily routines, including personal care and wellbeing


• Encourage independence through life skills and decision\-making


• Plan and take part in fun activities — from sports and swimming to community outings


• Be a positive role model and advocate, empowering young people to express themselves


• Work closely with families, professionals, and your team to provide the best care possible


• Keep clear, high\-quality records to ensure the highest standards of care


• Promote respect, equality, and individuality in everything you do
