Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Charge Nurse to lead our dedicated nursing team in providing exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care, ensuring adherence to care plans and protocols.

  • Manage daily clinical operations, including patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation accuracy.

  • Oversee patient safety initiatives, infection control procedures, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.

  • Provide mentorship and supervision to nursing staff, fostering professional development and team cohesion.

  • Handle escalated patient concerns or emergencies promptly and effectively, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare providers.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, incident reports, and staff schedules to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care environments with a strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's care.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or team management experience in healthcare settings.

  • Knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, laboratory procedures, medical imaging, and hospice care practices.

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, children—including toddlers—and those requiring home or hospice care.

  • Familiarity with case management principles and managing patients with complex needs such as ICU cases or dementia\-related conditions.

  • Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care.

  • Certification as a registered nurse (RN), along with relevant training in senior and assisted living care.
