Contract: 12 Mths Secondment

We’re focusing on really understanding our customers’ needs through insights and trends, which support us to deliver the most comprehensive beauty offering in the UK market, under one roof.

What you’ll be doing:

In this fast\-paced role, you will lead a team in delivering our annual budget and negotiate joint business plans with our UK brand partners. You’ll work closely cross functionally with a number of Boots UK teams to ensure we meet our business priorities including supply, finance \& merchandising.

Your responsibilities will include:* Own and deliver the commercial plan for the Premium Beauty category, analysing sales performance to enable reactivity where required.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of between 4\-6 direct reports.

  • Develop and execute a clear, customer\-led beauty trading strategy to ensure operational excellence, providing exceptional communication and problem\-solving support to our stores.

  • Collaborate with ISM, Finance, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to execute an integrated category plan.

  • Build and manage strong supplier partnerships to develop exclusive and differentiated joint business plans.

  • Analysing sales performance within the market to define new product \& brand opportunities to unlock further category growth and share.

  • Managing and driving the overall category P\+L alongside the rest of the Premium Beauty leadership team.
What you’ll need to have (our must\-haves):* Previous experience working within a buying or category team.
  • Ideally would have line management experience.

  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple big brands across the Premium Beauty category.

  • Exceptional communication skills, ensuring accuracy and a “right first time” mentality.

  • It would be great if you also have a passion for beauty and a focus on career development within the trading function.
