The carpenter will be responsible for the interior installation, ensuring compliance with HMS procedures, drawings, plans, standards, codes, department instructions, work schedules and quality standards.

So – what are your skills?
Duties and responsibilitiesInstallation according Vard Interiors standards and guidelines. Interior work scope could include pinning, insulation of bulkhead and deck, floating floor and/or self-levelling and complete installation of interior areas (e.g. Bathroom modules installation, bottom profiles, walls, ceiling, fix furniture, Window boxes, top covering, etc.)The Carpenter of Interior shall:
plan, schedule and prioritize work for Installationdo pre-check of assigned working areas before to start the activities, identify and document, drawings potential conflicts with other systems and report to Supervisor Interior and Production Coordinator of Interiorcoordinate operations and anticipately solve any potential installation issue with other
departments (for ex. hull, paint, electro, piping, hvac etc.)provide work direction and guidance to the installationsensure work assigned are completed within defined quality and according to planned schedule
QualificationsVocational schoolMinimum level of spoken EnglishKnowledge of ship interior, build and installation, understanding of schematic drawingsKnowledge with Walls and ceiling panels installation, starting from bottom profilesMinimum of 3 years' experience with furniture installation,Ability to read and understand instruction manuals and use of toolsVARD works systematically for inclusion and diversity and encourage everyone to apply, even if your competence does not match 100% the above
