Carer

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high\-quality support to individuals in a home care setting. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well\-being of those in their care. Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as required


• Implement and follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals


• Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary, ensuring safe transportation


• Uphold health and safety standards in line with organisational policies

Skills

• Valid driving licence and experience in driving clients safely


• Experience working within a care home or providing home care services


• Knowledge of creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs


• Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members


• Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes


• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism


• Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Pay: £13\.50\-£15\.00 per hour
