Care Workers
Care workers required to join our friendly team within a family run a 6/7\-bedroom residential care home in Telford providing support to service users with a primary diagnosis of Learning Disabilities. Previous care experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. However, what is essential is excellent communications skills, a desire to provide outstanding care, an empathetic nature, and a hard\-working approach. A key responsibility is to support service users to access the community and to engage in a meaningful and fulfilling activity programme, therefore a full UK Driving License would be an advantage but not essential.
We have both bank contract and guarenteed hours part time contracts available.
Please note the post includes cleaning, basic cooking, and Weekend / Bank Holiday working according to the duty rota. May also include sleep in shifts.

Key responsibilities will include:
- To assist residents with activities of daily living as required, including personal hygiene needs
- To assist residents to be fully involved in community services and a timetable of meaningful activities
- To maintain and clean and homely environment
- To prepare cook basic meals as per menu
- To contribute to maintenance of records, files and reports as appropriate, in line with Leegate Care Ltd.’s policy
- Undertake the reviewing and implementation of individual programmes
- To carry out duties in accordance with the Leegate Care Ltd.’s security and confidentiality procedures, within the context of Leegate Care Ltd.’s Equal Opportunities Policy
- To assist in ensuring the residents personal health is maintained and that they receive any medical attention required

All staff are required to complete mandatory training and regular refresher updates.
Staff new to care will be enrolled onto the Care Certificate programme.

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
