Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high\-quality support and assistance to individuals in their own homes within the Buckinghamshire area. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the well\-being and independence of clients by delivering personalised care tailored to their individual needs. Responsibilities
- Provide personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Manage behaviour effectively, especially in cases involving dementia or Alzheimer's care.
- Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition to senior staff promptly.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well\-being.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures, to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Previous experience in domiciliary care is highly desirable.
- Candidate will need to have a full UK driving license and a car as they will be traveling to people in their own homes.
- Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach towards clients of all ages, including children and seniors.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings or evenings if necessary.
