Eidyn Care is a family\-owned, award\-winning Care at Home provider. We are expanding our team and seeking a Scheduler / Care Coordinator with the grit, intelligence, and heart to keep our carers running smoothly—and our clients receiving the high\-quality, person\-centred care they deserve.
This role is not for the faint\-hearted. You'll be managing tight schedules, balancing staff availability, handling last\-minute changes, and minimising travel time for our team. If you're calm in a storm, obsessed with accuracy, and ready to be the nerve centre of an exceptional care team—we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain weekly rotas, optimising travel and continuity of care
- Work closely with Care Team Leads to plan schedules and ensure each run is safely staffed
- Organise and record staff holidays, cover planned and unplanned absences, and keep the schedule running smoothly
- React to last\-minute changes and support with real\-time problem\-solving
- Liaise with clients, families, and professionals to maintain continuity and trust
- Participate in on\-call duties (evenings/weekends on rotation)
- Opportunity to move to full\-time: spend half your time in the field doing spot checks, reviews \& client assessments
- Experienced scheduler (ideally in domiciliary or healthcare settings)
- Proven background in rota optimisation, absence management, and team support
- Confident working with Care Team Leads and frontline carers
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- Ability to stay composed in high\-pressure, fast\-paced environments
- Proficient in CarePlanner/ Nourish, PASS, or similar systems
- Driver with own vehicle
- SVQ 3 or willing to work toward it
- Meticulous attention to detail — no shift falls through the cracks on your watch
