Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator specialising in CQC Children and Young People regulations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating care services, ensuring the highest standards of support and safety for children and young people within care environments. Duties
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to each child's needs, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
- Coordinate and oversee daily care activities, ensuring high\-quality support is delivered consistently.
- Supervise and mentor care staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting best practices in child care.
- Liaise effectively with families, social workers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate holistic support.
- Monitor the wellbeing of children and young people, responding promptly to any concerns or changes in their condition.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up\-to\-date, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the care setting to enhance service quality and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with legal frameworks including safeguarding policies and health \& safety regulations.
- Proven experience working within a care home or senior care environment specialising in children or young people.
- Supervising or leadership experience within a social care setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with children, families, professionals, and team members.
- Proficiency in IT systems utilised for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between different care settings or appointments.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations relevant to children’s services is essential.
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
