Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high\-quality support to individuals in our 22 bed residential home based on Hoylake sea front. The successful candidate will work 2 days a week (inclusive of weekends) playing a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives through personalised care and attentive service.

Duties

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Support individuals with mobility and daily routines in accordance with care plans


• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and clients


• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems


• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate


• Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate transportation needs


• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Ability to operate basic IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy and patience


• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team


• A genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals and improve their quality of life
