\* Nights x 3\-5 per week (20:00\-07:30\)

We are a 41 bedroomed nursing and residential home, based in Newport Shropshire situated a short walking distance from the town.

We are looking to recruit AN exceptional care assistant to fill the position outlined above, to continue providing high standards of care to our wonderful service users. All candidates are required to be able to undertake the following duties and responsibility's.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities of life


• Assist to provide balanced and varied diet and fluids


• Contribute to High Standards of care and hygiene within the home


• Promote health and well being of residents


• Promoting our residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement


• Communicate clearly and efficiently to service users, staff and visitors


• Comply with CQC framework

Requirements

• NVQ 2 preferred (but not essential) as training will be offered


• To have empathy and a caring nature


• Willingness to learn and improve care


• Wishing to treat an individual as you would like to be treated yourself


• Conscientious


• Hard working

• Able to work alone and as part of a close knit team


• Honest


• Great communication skills

Full training will be provided for all new staff. This includes face\-to\-face Manual Handling, Fire Safety and Fire Evacuation with the addition of E\-Learning modules. A full induction will be provided to new staff who will be supported by colleagues to ensure knowledge and care are to a high standard.

Shift times
Night: 20:00\-07:30

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
