Duties

• Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity


• Support individuals in following their personalized care plans to meet their specific needs and preferences


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance well\-being and reduce feelings of loneliness


• Help with daily household activities, including meal preparation, light cleaning, and medication reminders


• Maintain clear communication with team members, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care


• Use IT systems to update records accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with care standards


• Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when necessary to promote social engagement and community involvement

Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively listen, understand, and engage with residents or clients and their families


• Strong interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships


• Basic IT literacy for documentation and updating care records accurately


• Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving home care or transportation duties


• Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate


• Ability to follow detailed care plans meticulously while adapting to individual needs


• Good physical fitness to assist with mobility support and perform manual tasks safely

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.00 per hour
