Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high\-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.


• Support residents in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance.


• Follow individual care plans to ensure personalised support for each resident.


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to address needs and concerns.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.


• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge


• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within the care home.

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.


• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.


• Ability to follow care plans accurately and with attention to detail.


• Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.


• A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting residents when needed.


• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self\-motivated.

Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time, Permanent

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
