Care Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high\-quality support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Support individuals with meal preparation and feeding as required


• Help with medication management in accordance with care plans


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems


• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff


• Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary (driving skills preferred)


• Collaborate with the wider care team to deliver personalised care plans


• Report any concerns regarding client health or safety promptly to supervisors

• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Basic IT skills for documentation and updating care records


• Ability to work effectively within a care home or home care setting


• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently


• Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others


• Driving licence is desirable for roles involving client transportation


• Ability to adapt to different care needs and environments


• Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families
