Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care and Compliance Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high\-quality care within our care home environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring compliance with care standards, and maintaining excellent communication with residents, families, and team members. This role offers an opportunity to lead a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional senior care while ensuring regulatory adherence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within the care home, ensuring all care activities meet regulatory standards and organisational policies.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Lead, motivate, and support care staff through effective supervision, training, and performance management.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding procedures, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of care delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication between residents, families, staff, and external agencies to promote transparency and trust.
- Organise staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident wellbeing and operational efficiency.
- Ensure accurate documentation of care activities, incidents, and compliance records using IT systems.
- Proven supervisory experience within a care home or senior care setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Knowledge of care plans development and regulatory requirements within the UK social care sector.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travel between sites or community engagement activities.
- Good IT skills for managing documentation, reporting, and communication tools.
- Previous experience supervising staff in a regulated environment is essential.
