Business Intelligence Developer \- York / Hybrid

Here at BWH Hotels GB we are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our ICT team, responsible for managing and developing the organisation’s analytics capability and Power BI platform. Working closely with Data Analysts, Compliance and IT teams, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, high\-quality insights that support business decision\-making.

In this role, you will oversee the Power BI environment, including datasets, dataflows, security and performance, while ensuring the platform remains robust and aligned to business needs. You will design and deliver impactful dashboards and reports, maintain existing solutions, and optimise data models for efficiency. Alongside this, you will support data engineering activities, including building data pipelines, writing SQL queries, and integrating data from multiple sources such as APIs and Power Automate, ensuring data integrity and security throughout.

You will also carry out detailed data analysis, applying appropriate statistical methods and using tools such as Python and Excel to produce meaningful insights. These will be communicated clearly to stakeholders across the organisation, helping to drive a data\-led culture.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, SQL, Python and data analysis, alongside the ability to manage platforms, build effective reporting solutions, and translate complex data into clear insights. You will be proactive, detail\-focused, and confident engaging with stakeholders, with a drive to continuously improve and challenge existing ways of working.
