At Penkz Care and Assisted Travels, we provide compassionate personal care combined with dedicated accessible travel support, ensuring our clients maintain independence, dignity, and freedom of movement. We are seeking an energetic, proactive, and results\-driven Business Development \& Marketing Executive to drive sales growth and elevate our brand presence across local care and travel networks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic referral partnerships with healthcare providers, local councils, and travel agencies, while simultaneously managing localized marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and community outreach.

Essential Qualifications \& Experience
  • Proven track record (2\+ years) in business development, sales, or field marketing within health and social care, accessible transport, or tourism industries.

  • Demonstrated experience in B2B networking and establishing formal referral channels.

  • Strong understanding of local community outreach strategies and direct sales tactics.

  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools, social media management, basic graphic design (e.g., Canva), and CRM software.

  • Valid Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for local field visits.
Desirable Attributes
  • Prior knowledge of CQC guidelines or social care commissioning processes.

  • Empathetic, articulate, and highly professional communication style suitable for speaking with elderly clients, families, and healthcare executives.

  • Self\-motivated with strong time\-management skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
Job description:Key Responsibilities \& Operational DutiesA. Business Development \& Lead Generation (60%)
  • Establish, maintain, and grow referral partnerships with local NHS hospital discharge teams, social work departments, private care home managers, and occupational therapists etc.

  • Identify and build working relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and accessible holiday providers requiring specialized transport and care partners.

  • Actively prospect for new B2B\-client opportunities through direct networking, cold outreach, and attendance at local healthcare, disability, and senior expos.

  • Manage incoming inquiries, conduct initial sales follow\-ups with families/clients, and coordinate with the care management team for formal assessments.
Marketing, Branding \& Digital Presence (30%)
  • Develop and execute local direct marketing strategies, including distributing flyers, brochures, and promotional materials in high\-value community spaces.

  • Manage company social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) by creating engaging visual content, client success stories, and educational posts etc.

  • Maintain and optimize the company’s Google Business Profile, website content, and online local directory listings to maximize local SEO and lead inquiries.

  • Gather client feedback, testimonials, and video/written reviews to build brand credibility and social proof.
Reporting \& Strategy (10%)
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including new lead volume, referral sources, client conversion rates, and campaign ROI.

  • Provide weekly/monthly sales updates and market insights to executive leadership.

  • Continuously gather feedback from prospective clients to help refine Penkz Care's travel and care service packages.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Referral Growth: Number of new B2B referral channels established per week/month.

  • Lead Conversion: Conversion rate from initial inquiry to booked care or assisted travel service.

  • Sales Volume: Total revenue growth across local care packages and assisted travel bookings.

  • Digital Engagement: Growth in Google Business inquiries, website form fills, and positive client reviews.
Experience:
  • Proven experience within the role as a Business Development \& Marketing Executive (Minimum of three years experience)

  • Mon–Fri: 09:00 – 17:00

  • Every other Saturday: 10:00 – 13:00
Pay: £28,000\.00 \- 30,000 per year
