Business Development Manager - Public Sector Portfolio

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We're looking for an energetic and results\-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts to sell sponsorship packages for our UK\-based premium networking events in the Public Sector. This role can be based in either our London or Crawley office, and is predominantly office\-based with flexibility available following successful completion of probation. If you thrive in a fast\-paced environment and are motivated by achievement, commission, and making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
THE ROLE:
- Close and repeat high\-value sponsorship sales
- Plan and engage with KPIs across activity and closed sales
- Develop relationships with decision\-makers to build accounts
- On\-site face\-to\-face client management and event execution
- Identify and secure new clients with major account potential
- Manage and update your sales pipeline within Salesforce (CRM)
- Gather product and company feedback from clients and prospects
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, ideally within event sponsorship
- Proven track record of winning new business and managing existing client accounts
- Able to sell a concept and take a consultative sales approach
- Comfortable working US hours when required
- Experienced across multiple sales platforms, including telephone, email, social, and in\-person
