Business Development Manager

About the Role

Domino Mechanical \& Electrical Ltd is a Sheffield\-based commercial M\&E contractor delivering HVAC installation, commissioning, and planned maintenance services UK\-wide. This role is focused on driving project\-led growth with direct end\-user clients — targeting facilities managers, estates teams, and multi\-site operators to win installation and fit\-out projects, with planned maintenance contracts built on the back of those relationships. You will be the driving force behind securing project work, negotiating contracts from enquiry to award, and converting project clients into long\-term maintenance partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Win and negotiate M\&E installation and fit\-out project contracts with direct end\-user clients


• Prepare and present project proposals, costings, and tender responses


• Identify and target end\-user clients: FMs, estates teams, multi\-site operators, and developers


• Manage and grow key accounts to maximise project opportunities and contract value


• Build and manage a strong project pipeline through proactive outreach and networking


• Report on pipeline activity and project forecasting to the Director


• Convert project clients into long\-term planned maintenance partners


• Work closely with ops and engineering to ensure projects are correctly scoped and priced

Essential

• Proven B2B sales record in M\&E, FM, or building services


• Experience selling to FMs, estates teams, or multi\-site operators


• Strong commercial and proposal writing skills


• Confident communicator at all levels


• Full UK driving licence

• Knowledge of HVAC / VRF or building services


• PPM maintenance contract experience


• Framework or public sector tendering


• Network in FM, retail estates, or commercial property


• Pipeline management experience
