Business Development Manager – Domiciliary Care \& Supported Living

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth and expansion of our domiciliary care and supported living services. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, increase referrals, and support the organisation's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies for domiciliary care and supported living services.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, social workers, NHS teams, case managers, housing providers, and community organisations.

  • Identify and secure new referral pathways and business opportunities.

  • Generate leads and increase care package referrals.

  • Monitor local market trends and competitor activity.

  • Prepare proposals, tenders, presentations, and business plans where required.

  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure service delivery supports growth plans.

  • Attend networking events and represent Red Apple Care Ltd professionally.

  • Produce regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience in business development within health and social care.

  • Strong knowledge of domiciliary care and/or supported living services.

  • Understanding of referral pathways and care sector commissioning processes.

  • Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and achieve business growth targets.

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
Desirable Skills
  • Existing relationships with commissioners, local authorities, or healthcare professionals.

  • Experience with tender submissions and framework applications.

  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
