Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results\-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop strategies that enhance market presence
- Utilise CRM software and Salesforce to manage customer data, track sales activities, and generate reports
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively, ensuring mutual benefit for all parties
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for expansion
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate value propositions
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a similar industry
- Proficiency in CRM software with specific experience using Salesforce is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities
- Ability to analyse market data and utilise insights for decision\-making
- Self\-motivated with a results\-oriented mindset and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
