PLT Training are well established Health \& Safety Training company based in Oldbury, with over 22 years’ experience of delivering high quality training to help companies be compliant with their duties under the Health \& Safety at Work Act. We are now looking for a full time Business Developer to join our fast\-growing company, already dealing with over 1500 clients.

This is a fantastic full time permanent opportunity to be working for PLT Training Ltd.

Our customers are mainly based in the Midlands but due to the nature of this role, on occasion you may need to travel further where all costs are covered. The majority of work is carried out between the hours of 8am – 5pm, but on occasion there may be call for evening or weekend work.

Responsibilities

As a Business Developer your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across diverse sectors.

  • Efficiently managing your schedule to maximize outreach and prospect engagement.

  • Leveraging your experience in promoting and selling to build and nurture strong client relationships.

  • Retaining ownership of your clients, ensuring the highest level of service, and developing strong relationships.

  • Staying well\-informed about our products and services to position yourself as an industry expert.

  • Analysis of the competitor market.

  • Using your excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrating a passion for sales and a commitment to achieving targets.

  • Collaborate effectively and enthusiastically with all other members of the team to maximise on all opportunities available
Requirements
  • Proven sales record in Business Development \& growth. Previous experience is essential.1yr\+

  • Strong business development, time management, and organisational skills.

  • A proactive 'can do' approach is important and the ability to work on own initiative is essential.

  • Excel in building client relationships, and actively acquiring and retaining clients.

  • Effective communication, including understanding client needs.

  • Understanding of SEO, web development, web design, social media marketing, branding, and content marketing services.

  • Full driving licence and a willingness to travel as part of the role
