Salary: £28,860 per annum plus on\-call payments
Crossroads Care is seeking a motivated and supportive Area Team Leader to help lead our care teams through an exciting period of organisational development.
Following the completion of the initial internal restructuring application process, this vacancy is now open to applications from both internal and external candidates.
About the Role
As an Area Team Leader, you will provide day\-to\-day operational leadership within your allocated geographical area, supporting high\-quality care delivery, rota coordination, workforce development and quality assurance.
You will work closely with Care Professionals, clients, families and the wider management team to ensure services remain safe, responsive and person\-centred.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Professional, Senior Care Professional or aspiring leader looking to progress into a broader operational leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Care Professionals within your allocated area.
- Coordinate day\-to\-day rota management and scheduling.
- Monitor service quality, client satisfaction and continuity of care.
- Carry out spot checks, mentoring and field\-based support.
- Support supervision, probation reviews and performance management processes.
- Assist with staff induction, training, competency observations and workforce development.
- Respond to client concerns and operational issues.
- Support absence management and staff wellbeing processes.
- Contribute to the organisation's on\-call rota.
- Promote a positive culture of accountability, professionalism and excellent care.
You will be:

- Ability to coordinate staffing priorities and rota changes.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Previous Senior Care Professional, Team Leader or supervisory experience.
- Experience supporting staff development, mentoring or onboarding.
- Experience contributing to rota management and scheduling.
- Experience supporting quality monitoring, spot checks or audits.
- Experience supporting recruitment, networking or community engagement.
- Willingness to work towards a Level 4 leadership qualification.
- Salary of £28,860 per annum.
