Business and Finance Manager

We are looking for a Business and Finance Manager to join the GRG Group at our Crewe office.
JOB OUTLINE
Overseeing the daily financial operations of Greenway Environmental Limited (Greenway) and general GRG Waste UK office related support services functions.
This role is suitable for a part‑qualified accountant or an experienced finance professional.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare monthly management accounts for Greenway and variance analyses.
Support the Greenway sales and operations teams in providing the metrics required to formulate reports and business analytics.
Oversee the provision of business information regarding Greenway site operations for each of the individual group business units.
Maintain the accuracy of Greenway’s general ledger and oversee reconciliations.
Support the development of Greenway annual budgets and forecasts.
Lead the year end accounts, group audit and tax return processes for Greenway.
Ensure strong financial controls are maintained at Greenway at all times.
Lead and oversee group IT and procurement activities and monitor expenses and overheads for group procurement opportunities.
Provision of monthly payroll support when needed.
Supervise junior finance staff, providing coaching and development.
Promote a culture of learning, performance, measurement and support.
Such other duties as maybe required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Newly or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:
Experience in a Finance role.
Understanding of financial accounting and management reporting
Desired:
Experience in the waste management sector.
SKILL OR APTITUDE REQUIRED
Good excel skills and experience with accounting software.
High attention to detail and strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Ability to analyse and interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
Pay: From £45,000\.00 per year
