Customer Service Apprentice

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Apprentice to join our Customer Engagement team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands\-on experience in a professional office environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Apprentice, you'll be one of the first points of contact for our customers, helping to provide excellent service and support via phone and email.
You'll learn how to manage customer enquiries, process orders, prepare quotations and build strong relationships with customers. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business and receive full training and support to help you develop your skills and confidence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, is keen to learn and wants to start a career in customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Answering customer enquiries by telephone and email.
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing quotations and following up with customers.
- Updating customer records and maintaining accurate information.
- Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Learning about our products and services so you can confidently assist customers.
- Supporting the Sales and Marketing teams where required.
- Working with other departments to ensure customers receive the best possible service.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks within the team.
We're not expecting you to have lots of experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- Friendly and confident when speaking with people.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable and professional attitude.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office or similar software.
These aren't essential, but would be an advantage:
- An interest in customer service and helping people.
- Previous experience in a customer\-facing role, such as retail, hospitality, volunteering or work experience.
- Experience using email, Word and Excel.
- Confidence speaking on the phone.
- Experience of working as part of a team through school, college, sport or other activities.
- A recognised Customer Service apprenticeship qualification.
- Full training and support from experienced colleagues.
- Valuable business and customer service experience.

- Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- 8:00am to 4:00pm
- 37\.5 hours per week
