Business Admin Assistant - Sickness Absence
The Executive Headteacher and Governors of Brackenfield SEND School are seeking to appoint a School Business Assistant (Sickness Absence Administration) to provide effective administrative support to the HR Manager, with a specific focus on the management and monitoring of staff sickness absence.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school’s absence management procedures, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, timely communication, and compliance with relevant policies and procedures. This post requires a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism, alongside strong organisational and communication skills.
The expected start date will be September 2026\.
All of our young people have complex learning needs.
We have a specific focus on pupils with complex communication and comprehension needs and those with significant visual and auditory impairments.
Pupils in Brackenfield SEND school are not chronologically age grouped and instead are grouped by their cognitive, social, communication and sensory needs.
