We are expanding our Biology and Chemistry provision and are looking for an exceptional tutor, not an average one.

The Role

We are recruiting a high\-performing Biology \& Chemistry Tutor to teach GCSE and A\-Level students in person at our Birmingham centre.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has deep subject mastery


• Understands exam strategy, mark schemes, and grade boundaries


• Takes pride in producing measurable academic results

You will teach motivated students in small groups or 1:1, using structured lesson plans and exam\-focused methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high\-quality, exam\-focused Biology and Chemistry lessons (GCSE \& A\-Level)


• Break down complex concepts with clarity and precision


• Train students in exam technique, application questions, and mark\-scheme optimisation


• Track student progress using assessments and performance data


• Adapt delivery for:


• Grade 9/A\* candidates


• Students needing targeted intervention


• Stay current with AQA, Edexcel, and OCR specifications


• Provide concise progress feedback to students and parents when required

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline


• Proven experience tutoring or teaching GCSE and A\-Level Biology and Chemistry


• Strong understanding of UK exam boards and mark schemes


• Confident classroom presence and clear communication


• Professional, reliable, and results\-oriented mindset

Desirable (but not essential)

• PGCE, QTS, or formal teaching qualification


• Track record of students achieving top grades


• Experience teaching high\-achieving or selective\-school students
