This service is for individuals in Somerset who need immediate and short\-term crisis prevention and do not require more intensive care from either an emergency or inpatient service. We deliver this service via in\-person or telephone\-based 1\-1 appointments. You can read more about this service here: Crisis Safe Space

Internal opportunities for Fixed\-Term employment contracts may also arise. These involve a fixed number of hours with a service for a set period. Some Bank Workers also take interest in permanent employment with us after working on our Bank – and have access to our internal adverts.

Attendence to our mandatory training is paid at a rate of £13\.45 per hour.

There are also opportunities for further career development such as access to internal job adverts.

Whether you are at the start of your career in the health and social care sector \- or are simply looking to pick up shifts alongside another job, this is a great opportunity to build experience, knowledge and skills while working with great teams to support our services and those using them.

Hours:

You will be able to accept bank shifts with us on an ad hoc basis via an app.

The hours advertised will vary depending on our services’ needs.

Location:

  • Our Crisis Safe Space has sites in central Bridgwater, Frome and Wells.

  • We also have services in Yeovil, Weston\-super\-Mare, Bath and Swindon. Bank work at these locations could also be advertised.
