Bakery Production Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Bakery Production Staff to join our team in a fast\-paced bakery environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, production and baking of a variety of baked goods. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within food production while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained throughout all processes. Previous experience is not essential, but a keen interest in bakery operations and food safety is desirable. All positions are paid and provide valuable hands\-on experience in the food manufacturing industry.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients according to specified recipes and standards


• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters with mechanical knowledge


• Follow strict HACCP protocols and food safety guidelines during all stages of production


• Measure ingredients accurately using basic maths skills to ensure consistency in products


• Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal product quality


• Package finished products efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards


• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations


• Support team members during busy periods to meet production deadlines


• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company specifications

Skills

• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations


• Experience or familiarity with food production processes preferred


• Mechanical knowledge related to bakery equipment is advantageous


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail


• Basic maths skills for measuring ingredients accurately


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment


• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to health and safety practices

Pay: £23,200\.00\-£27,000\.00 per year
