Accountabilities
- Lead and develop the Western European Healthcare and Diagnostics commercial organization, providing strategic direction, clear priorities, and performance-focused leadership.
- Define and execute regional go-to-market strategies that maximize customer coverage, market penetration, and long-term business growth.
- Drive revenue performance through effective account prioritization, sales execution, forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and pricing discipline.
- Strengthen customer relationships by ensuring exceptional engagement strategies and a seamless customer experience across the region.
- Optimize commercial operations through KPI-driven management, operational rigor, and consistent adoption of CRM tools for visibility and execution excellence.
- Oversee and govern selected distributor and value-added reseller partnerships, ensuring alignment with broader commercial objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, finance, legal, operations, service, and applications teams to deliver coordinated business initiatives.
- Champion change management, continuous improvement, and commercial best practices across multiple countries and teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Diagnostics, Healthcare, or a related scientific discipline; a PhD and/or MBA is considered a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial leadership experience within healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, medical technologies, or similarly regulated industries.
- Proven success leading direct sales organizations across multiple countries and driving sustainable revenue growth in complex regional markets.
- Strong strategic planning, business development, and operational management capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, sales excellence, customer engagement, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of healthcare and diagnostics market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior-level stakeholders, key customers, and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills, with the ability to inspire high performance across geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Full professional proficiency in English; additional fluency in a Western European language is highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to approximately 35% of the time.
