Salary: up to 40K

Type: Full\-Time \| Permanent\| Hybrid 3 days on site

Your Mission

As an Associate Developer, you’ll be part of a collaborative, fast\-paced engineering team building AI\-powered and bespoke software products. Whether you’ve coded through university projects, bootcamps, side hustles, or personal interest, we want to help you “level up” into a professional software engineer.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Feature Development: Contribute to feature development by following specifications and learning our coding standards.

  • Code Quality: Write clear, well\-commented code and document your tasks and progress along the way.

  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews – first as an observer, then as a learner – and start contributing your own findings and discussion points.

  • Collaboration: Communicate progress and questions clearly with your team, respond to messages promptly, and use our communication tools as instructed.

  • Problem Solving: Assist in breaking down tasks into manageable subtasks and learn practical problem\-solving techniques with guidance.

  • Quality Mindset: Check your own work for errors, learn to identify basic risk, and follow instructions carefully.

  • Agile Life: Take part in daily stand\-ups, sprint ceremonies, and team meetings – practising active listening and beginning to explain your work to others.

  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate proactive learning and research, ask questions to clarify understanding, and accept feedback gracefully.

This is an entry\-level role where raw talent and great ideas matter

  • Exposure to Development: You have a basic understanding of coding fundamentals (maybe through a degree, bootcamp, or self\-study) and familiarity with core company tools and software libraries.

  • Communication is Key: You are a good communicator who feels comfortable brainstorming with the team and asking questions when you’re unsure.

  • Initiative \& Enthusiasm: You don’t wait to be told what to do; you see a problem and want to solve it.
