The Radhuni is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager or accomplished Head Waiter ready to take the next step, with the confidence, attention to detail and practical ability to help lead a busy restaurant.

Our family\-run, award\-winning restaurant combines outstanding food with warm, polished and personal service. We are looking for someone who takes pride in those standards and delivers them consistently—even during the busiest service.

This is a hands\-on role requiring the ability to coordinate dine\-in, delivery and collection services simultaneously. You will support the Restaurant Manager, take responsibility for your assigned shifts and confidently lead the operation in their absence.

The role

• Lead by example on the restaurant floor, actively welcoming guests, taking orders, serving tables and supporting colleagues wherever needed.


• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, from a warm welcome and thoughtful menu introduction to personalised table checks and a memorable farewell.


• Develop excellent knowledge of our food, drinks, ingredients and allergens, ensuring dietary requirements are accurately recorded and communicated.


• Support the management of bookings, seating and table timings, keeping service organised and attentive.


• Coordinate delivery and collection alongside dine\-in service, overseeing telephone and online orders, kitchen communication, packing checks, collection times and delivery drivers. Maintain order accuracy, food quality and timely service across all areas.


• Take ownership of routine operational issues, resolving them within your authority without constant supervision or intervention from the Restaurant Manager or Operations Director. Escalate significant matters promptly, with a clear explanation and proposed solution.


• Support team briefings, delegate tasks clearly and check that work is completed to the required standard.


• Coach colleagues patiently and constructively, helping maintain a respectful and professional working environment.


• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, following through to a resolution within agreed procedures.


• Ensure opening, service and closing checklists are completed, with consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and readiness.


• Assist with stock checks, ordering, cashing up and accurate operational records.


• Support sales through informed recommendations, menu knowledge and genuine guest relationships.


• Follow management instructions reliably and provide clear handovers on outstanding matters.

Who we are looking for

You may already be an Assistant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor or experienced Head Waiter ready for greater responsibility. Your practical ability, attitude and service standards matter more than your current title.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in a busy restaurant, including coordinating dine\-in service with takeaway, collection and delivery orders.


• The ability to remain calm, courteous and effective under pressure, prioritising competing demands without allowing standards to slip.


• Strong practical table\-service skills and the confidence to lead a shift.


• A natural understanding of hospitality, making every guest feel recognised and well looked after.


• Clear communication and a respectful, fair approach to supervising colleagues.


• Initiative, sound judgement and the discipline to complete tasks without repeated reminders.


• A willingness to learn our standards, accept feedback and develop yourself and others.


• Availability for shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Experience in fine dining, AA Rosette or Michelin\-standard environments would be particularly welcome.
