We’re looking for a confident and proactive Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the Bryn Williams restaurant and catering team at Theatr Clwyd.

Now firmly established and six months into service, the restaurant sits at the heart of the theatre experience \- from pre\-show dining and interval drinks to catering across meeting and event spaces. This is a varied, hands\-on role for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced, guest\-focused environment and is ready to take the next step into a leadership position.

42 hours per week, 5 over 7 days

Your Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll support the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant and bar operation, ensuring a seamless guest experience across all service areas:

Support the Restaurant Manager in leading the front of house team

Take responsibility for service standards across restaurant and bar

Oversee service during busy periods, including running the floor and pass

Coordinate team members across the restaurant and bar

Support training and development of team members

Ensure smooth communication between front and back of house

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation

Assist with stock control, ordering, and daily operations

Lead by example in delivering warm, attentive guest service

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience (min. 2 years) in a supervisory or management front of house role

Confidence leading a team in a busy service environment

Strong organisational and communication skills

A calm, solutions\-focused approach under pressure

A genuine interest in food, drink, and hospitality

A hands\-on attitude with a willingness to support across all areas

Pay: Up to £31,254\.35 per year
