We are looking for a Freelance support workers to join our existing team. The Youth and children’s support worker will work alongside the Youth Club Lead working with families and individuals in the local area so the Centre can offer appropriate activities and events.

Hours of work will be Wednesday 2\.30pm – 7\.30pm.

Duties will include:

  • Organise and participate in recreational activities

  • Help young people to access services and opportunities within their community

  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance to young people

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people at all times

  • Adhere to all relevant legislation and policies

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Youth Worker or similar role

  • Understanding of the issues faced by disadvantaged youth

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Enhanced DBS check

Job Types: Part\-time, Freelance

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
