We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley House \& Lodge.
This role will be working full time, 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge offer a 34 bed high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men with complex needs as well as supporting 8 beds in our community step\-down houses. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity.
Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge is a multi\-disciplinary and psychologically informed service. The focus is on nurturing an enabling environment to deliver a clinical model, developed specifically to meet the needs of service users within an operational framework, providing a high quality environment for promoting long\-term recovery.
Your Day\-to\-Day…
We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with;
- Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
- Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
- Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
- Administration, audit, research and service development
- Salary:£28,826\.70 per year
- Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
- BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
- Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
- Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Qualified to Master’s degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
