Assistant Operations Manger
Supports the day\-to\-day operations of Colne Market Hall, ensuring a vibrant, welcoming, and efficient environment for traders, visitors, and staff. This role combines operational management, customer service, and team leadership to help drive footfall, tenant satisfaction, and overall commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Assist in overseeing daily market operations, ensuring smooth opening, trading, and closing procedures
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the market hall
Support compliance with health \& safety regulations, licensing, and local authority requirements
Monitor facilities and coordinate maintenance or repairs when needed
Tenant \& Vendor Relations
Maintain strong relationships with traders and vendors
Customer Experience
Ensure a welcoming and engaging environment for visitors
Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback effectively
Support initiatives to enhance visitor experience and increase footfall
Team Leadership
Supervise and support market staff, including scheduling and task delegation
Provide training and guidance to ensure excellent service delivery
Foster a positive, collaborative working environment
Events \& Promotions
Assist in planning and executing events, promotions, and community activities
Financial Support
Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
Attend monthly marketing meetings where possible
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: £28,500\.00 per year
