Teaching Assistant Level 2b

Location: Ss John Fisher \& Thomas More RC High School

Contract Type: Part\-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Grade 5 \- £25,183 \- £27,269 pro rata

Hours of Work: 32\.5 hours per week (start and finish times to be agreed),

Term Time Only \+ 5 Inset Days

Key responsibilities:

As a TA2, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning experience within our school. Your responsibilities will include,

Supporting the lead teacher in delivering lessons, providing individualized attention to pupils, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Providing additional support to pupils who may require extra assistance and contributing to the overall positive and caring atmosphere that defines our school community.

You will also work closely with other teaching assistants and educators to ensure effective communication and cooperation within the team.

Assist in tracking and documenting student progress, contributing to the assessment and reporting process.

Engage with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· TA2 qualification or equivalent experience a distinct advantage

· A genuine passion for working in a faith\-based educational setting

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students and colleagues
