Working as part of a fast\-growing company, your role would be the Assistant Manager of our tuition centre in West Reading. This role would suit a driven individual who has good business and sales acumen and a keen interest in the education sector. Your main goal would be to develop and grow the centre and ensure all of the business operations are running smoothly.
What skills will you gain?
- Exposure to a growing business, its main clientele and the different disciplines of a learning centre. There will also be an opportunity to develop the centre’s advertisement and sales strategies.
- Experience leading a team of tutors who deliver educational excellence.
- Training in leadership and management skills, including an overview of the British Education System and the different ways to deliver educational excellence
Administration
- Your main responsibilities will be administrative: manning the front desk, answering telephone enquiries and responding to emails, keeping the database up to date on all student records and keeping all paperwork filed and in order.
- You will help to develop sales and marketing and provide a fresh new perspective on innovating current strategies.
- Be in control of the front desk, taking payments, answering queries and providing necessary support for the staff, parents and students.
- Conduct Initial Assessments, registration and enrolment meetings for students and follow up queries from parents.
- Take registration during tutoring hours and ensure good tutoring practice.
- Get involved with the tutoring and learn what it takes to inspire a young generation of learners.
- Providing assistance to the Centre Manager for HR: recruitment, inductions and training staff on company policies and tutoring practice. You will keep track of staff hours, holiday requests and shift patterns and be their main point of contact.
- Good communicator with different age groups and backgrounds.
- Personable, professional and confident – able to build, develop and maintain relationships quickly.
- Receptive to feedback with a positive attitude.
- Highly organised, able to delegate and able to meet deadlines.
- Works well under pressure.
- Self\-motivated and able to use initiative and share fresh ideas with management.
- Working independently as well as with the rest of our incredible team.
- Having a keen interest in education and children’s academic development.
Hours: Full time (40 hours over 5 days)
Job Types: Full\-time, Graduate
Pay: £26,500\.00\-£27,500\.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Reading, Berkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
