Duties:
- Work with the Finance Manager to understand and produce accurate and appropriate management reports to support decision making.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Process supplier invoices, customer payments, and financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure financial procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with company policies and ISO requirements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and employee expenses.
- Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date financial records, including fixed asset registers.
- Assist with month\-end and year\-end financial processes.
- Prepare financial reports and management information using tools such as Excel/Sales platforms.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Respond to finance\-related queries from customers, suppliers, and colleagues, maintaining accurate records of communications.
- Support payroll administration and related processes.
- Assist the HR Director with employee benefits administration and HR\-related activities.
- Provide day\-to\-day office administration support.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support accurate reporting and efficient operations.
You will be a proactive and reliable professional who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment. You will have demonstrated a successful record of understanding numbers and mathematics and take pride in delivering accurate, high\-quality work. You will be keen to demonstrate continuous learning and interest to take up formal qualifications. Whilst experience of finance or accounts is valuable, an enthusiasm to learn quickly and work in a complex tech environment is more important so this could be an opportunity for someone keen to pursue a career in finance.
Skills \& Experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem\-solving skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous finance administration, or accounts assistant experience desirable but a confidence in Excel is also valued .
- Proficiency with accounting software; (Xero).
- Enthusiasm to work in a technology/SaaS business.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
