Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
- Supervise staff including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork
- Support food preparation and cooking activities as needed, ensuring consistency with company standards
- Monitor food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage customer relations, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist in training new staff members and conducting performance evaluations
- Coordinate with the kitchen team on food production, presentation, and quality control
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the work environment in line with health and safety standards
- Support inventory management, including stock control of ingredients and supplies
- Contribute to menu planning alongside culinary staff, incorporating current trends and customer preferences
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a diverse team
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or culinary roles is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Good communication skills for liaising with staff and guests alike
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant management systems is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in busy environments

Pay: £26,000\.00\-£33,000\.00 per year
