As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Premises Manager in running daily operations across the bar, helping maintain high standards, smooth service, and a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Premises Manager with day‑to‑day bar and front‑of‑house operations


• Lead and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints professionally


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, workflow, and service quality


• Communicate confidently with head office when required


• Keep paperwork organised, record daily takings accurately, and assist with ordering and stock control


• Work alongside the Premises Manager to effectively cover staff absences as a team


• Support the bar team with a hands‑on, positive approach


• Help maintain a structured, compliant, and well‑organised working environment

• Strong hospitality background (pub or similar environment preferred)


• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience advantageous


• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude


• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities


• Email and Microsoft Office skills; Excel experience is advantageous


• Experience with Epos till systems advantageous


• Confident communicating with senior management


• Calm, professional, and reliable under pressure


• Training on aspects as required will be provided
