Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. This dual\-role position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while managing front\-of\-house responsibilities. You will be the friendly face greeting patients, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties

• Welcome patients warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit


• Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including preparing equipment and maintaining sterilization standards


• Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations


• Schedule appointments efficiently, reschedule as needed, and manage the practice calendar to optimize patient flow


• Handle all reception duties such as answering calls, responding to inquiries, and processing patient payments


• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and clinical environment to uphold health and safety standards


• Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, post\-procedure care, and practice policies

Experience

• Proven experience as a dental nurse or in a similar healthcare support role with a focus on patient care


• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with diverse patients and team members


• Knowledge of dental nursing practices, infection control protocols, and clinical procedures


• Proficiency in IT systems used for scheduling, record keeping, and administrative tasks


• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast\-paced environment


• Ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and clear communication at all times
