£35,500 base salary \+ £10,000\+ TRONC per year
Typical earnings: £45,000\+ OTE
£175–£200\+ per week gratuities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven Assistant General Manager to join one of Scotland’s most exciting independent restaurant groups.
Buck’s Bar is a busy American\-style diner known for authentic buttermilk fried chicken, great drinks, loud rock ’n’ roll, and unforgettable hospitality.
We’re looking for a hands\-on leader who thrives in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment and is passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving results.

About You
You will:
- Have a hands\-on leadership style and lead from the front during service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and put guests first
- Have at least 1 year’s experience as an AGM or Senior Supervisor in a high\-volume restaurant or bar
- Be confident managing stock, labour, and controllable costs
- Be a proactive problem solver with a positive attitude
- Inspire, motivate, and develop your team
- Have a genuine passion for hospitality, coaching, and people development
- Oversee the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant
- Ensure consistently high standards of food, drink, and service
- Train, support, and motivate team members
- Maintain compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards
- Support kitchen and floor operations during busy services
- Handle guest feedback professionally and efficiently
- Work closely with senior management to drive performance and standards
